NEW INSULATOR DAMPER

Inspired by the premium Charger 3 damper on our Signature Series forks, the all-new Isolator damper utilizes a washer-based, spring-loaded Internal Floating Piston (IFP) damper to provide the rider with a consistent and predictable feel throughout the travel. The isolator’s three-stage compression setting (Open, Pedal and Fixed) means that when the isolator damper is open, oil flows freely through the damper to absorb large shocks (and save your hands). Firm provides the maximum damping force to calm the wobble and provide the most efficient ride.

The IFP design of the isolator damper prevents air and oil from mixing, resulting in unparalleled responsiveness at impact and improved consistency throughout the travel. The all-new rebound piston controls oil flow on both compression and rebound strokes by using shim stacks on the bottom of the piston to control oil flow in both directions. The rebound piston utilizes a dual-flow rebound circuit that features a responsive easy-flow path for traction in technique and a hard-flow path that engages for more control when you’re deep in the travel. All this means that the front wheel can follow whatever conditions the trail presents while providing predictability and reducing harshness. And… based on the Charger 3, the highlight is how quiet it is.
