MADE IN FRANCE

Madnes Bicycles is always made in France as much as possible and strives to bring most suppliers as close to the workshop as possible. Although some of the tubing comes from Reynolds in England, the parts that make up the frames are machined, cut and welded locally.

WHY STEEL?

Firstly, its fatigue resistance makes it the material of choice to ensure frame longevity. In addition to the joy of enjoying your bike for a long time, this longevity also enables an economic and ecological reduction in consumption. Because the carbon footprint of steelmaking is much lower than that of carbon or aluminum, it is also recyclable. Steel also has unrivaled dynamism as it recovers its shape more quickly than other materials when bent, giving the bike high dynamism when pedaling and turning. Weight is maintained thanks to double-butted Reynolds tubing, making Madnes frames lighter than most aluminum frames in this segment.

VIRTUAL POINT PIVOT & CONCENTRIC SHOCK AXLE

Madnes Bicycles maintains virtual pivot point technology to maximize all suspension parameters for optimal pedaling and cushioning. With complete transparency about the quality of the suspension system, all curves are visible on the website. The concentric axis between the higher linkage, rear triangle and shock absorber gives the frame a clean look and simplicity.

IGUS BUSHINGS

Thanks to this storage, the Madnes frames are able to achieve these clean lines without interruptions between the different elements. They are also very easy to maintain and inexpensive, with a lifespan of 2 years and a complete bushing kit for the frame for €20.

A STIFF FRAME

The rigidity is optimized as much as possible by the triangulation of straight tubes without bends, the tapered head tube with integrated headset, the hollow folded sheet metal reinforcements and the connection between the front triangle and the rear triangle by double links.
