Lightweight, maneuverable touring trailer that holds up to 100 pounds of cargo

We were pleased to find that the Nomad’s towbar attached to our test bike quickly and easily using the axle nut, meaning we were off and running in no time. The solid aluminum chassis remained stable throughout all of our rides, giving us confidence that we could tow safely for many miles.
Advantages- Plenty of free space for transporting cargo of different shapes and sizes; along with mesh pockets for carrying smaller items.
- Folds neatly into a compact size, ideal for transport and storage.
- Thanks to the Flex Connector, the trailer remains upright even when the bike is on its side.
- It is convenient to store when not in use as it folds down to a compact size and fits easily into the trunk or rear SUV compartment.
- The water-repellent cover keeps your cargo dry and also seals tightly, protecting against wind and other elements.
- The Nomad is super stable and almost unnoticeable as it rolls behind your bike.
Disadvantages- Would ride better if fully loaded and used 20″ tires instead of 16″ tires.
The trailer’s 22-inch width meant it was comfortably in my lane when I cycled along the bike path. The smooth-running 16-inch on-road tires are light and easy to maneuver and can be swapped for off-road tires. Since I was carrying almost 30 kilograms of luggage with me, I hardly felt the weight when pedaling on my e-bike. Cornering was easy and I didn’t have to worry about hitting the corner.
Using the gear clips, I was able to easily tighten the waterproof cover over my gear. During a few gusts of wind, I looked back and realized the cover wasn’t going anywhere. This increased my confidence in this trailer’s ability to keep my belongings safe, dry and clean.

The connecting tow arm can be moved to either side of the trailer and attached to the rear axle of the bike.
Additionally, some of the worthwhile optional accessories you can get include: the 16+ Wheel Kit for driving and towing on snow, sand and gravel; the Walking & Hiking Kit, which allows you to pull with the belt attached to your hip; the ski kit that allows you to tow while skiing; and the trailer storage bag is used to keep the trailer clean and protected when not in use.
The stable rides were a good indicator of how solidly built this trailer is. After driving the trailer over countless potholes, bumps and rocky roads, the frame remained stable and I didn’t have to tighten anything. I was very pleased with the overall performance and quality of this trailer. This trailer deserves its place on our “Best Bike Trailers” shortlist.
