In one First drive of the Honda CR-V e:FCEV 2025We found it well-packaged, spacious and refined, with a driving experience virtually indistinguishable from that of a battery-electric model. While the vehicle is in top shape, the fueling infrastructure is not in top shape. It’s good that Honda, along with other car manufacturers, has started to prioritize other uses for hydrogen – and has equipped the e:FCEV with a charging port.

Nissan has discussed a roadmap for a new generation of affordable electric vehicles, plus a three-row electric SUV due out in 2028 and a pivot that will include U.S.-bound hybrids and plug-in hybrids. This includes Nissan’s e-Power hybrid technology, which has been confirmed to be launched in 2026, when it says these hybrids will be priced on par with non-hybrids.
